Questions about this server

What is the IP address for Hycraft?

The address for Hycraft is mc.hycraft.us. In Minecraft Java Edition choose Multiplayer, then Add Server, and paste it into the Server Address box.

Is Hycraft online right now?

Yes. Hycraft replied to our ping with 134 players connected. We last reached it at 2026-10-24 15:02 UTC and we re-check every five minutes.

What Minecraft version does Hycraft run?

Hycraft reports Velocity 1.7.2-26.3, which means it accepts clients from 1.7 through 1.26. A server with that kind of range is normally running a proxy that translates between versions.

Can Java and Bedrock players both join Hycraft?

No. Hycraft only answered on Java when we tested it, so Bedrock players cannot use this address. We repeat the test daily and will update this page if that changes.

How many players are on Hycraft?

134 at our last ping. The seven-day average is 168 and the highest we have recorded in that window is 545. The chart further up this page shows how that number moves through the day.

When is the best time to play on Hycraft?

Around 00:00 UTC, when we typically count about 381 players. That is the busiest hour we have measured on Hycraft over the last seven days.

Where is Hycraft hosted?

The address for Hycraft resolves to a machine in United States. Players far from there should expect a longer round trip, which usually shows up as delayed block breaking rather than as a disconnect.

Is Hycraft free to join?

Yes, joining Hycraft costs nothing beyond owning Minecraft. Some servers additionally allow offline-mode accounts and some do not — the server decides that, and we do not resell anything.
