About 9Minecraft Java Servers

This site is the Java Edition server directory of 9Minecraft. It exists to answer one question quickly: which servers are actually online and worth joining right now?

Where the player counts come from

Every server on the list is pinged directly over the Minecraft protocol, all day long. The player count, version and MOTD you see are what the server itself reported on the last successful ping — not numbers an owner typed into a form. A server that stops answering drops out of the listing on its own.

No paid placement

Ranking is not for sale. Servers are ordered by what the data says, and the filters (gamemode, country, version, cross-play) simply narrow that same list. Owners can submit a server, but submitting it does not move it up.

What we do not collect

You do not need an account to browse, copy an IP, or use the filters. There is no login on this site and nothing you type into the search box is tied to a profile.

Part of the 9Minecraft network

9Minecraft has run Minecraft downloads and guides since 2012. This server list is one of several sites in that network — there are separate ones for Bedrock servers, seeds, skins, capes, schematics, tools and the wiki. You can reach all of them from the 9Minecraft Universal menu in the header.

Corrections

If a server is listed wrongly, has changed address, or should be removed, use the contact link in the footer and include the server address.

How to join
Server address
Port

Click a field to copy it.

  1. Open Minecraft: Java Edition on your PC.
  2. Click Multiplayer → Add Server.
  3. Paste the address above into Server Address. Name it anything, then click Done.
  4. Select the server and click Join Server.

Java uses port 25565 by default. If the port above is 25565 you do not need to type it — the address alone is enough.
